Rosemary Campbell | Textile Study Group
I love the painterly effect that Rosemary Campbell can create using layering and stitch, this really appeals to me because it is not obviously ‘textile’. She says her work is personal in nature, she taps into family history and recently her work reflected time spent in Shetland. She mentions her way of working which is interesting if not slightly unconventional. She works with colours, textures aad images and collates these ideas in a sketchbook, but she does tend to work intuitively with her stitched drawings.
